Morning Randomness

Morning everyone!! How's your day so far..? (Okay, stupid question... The day didn't even start yet..hehe) Anyhow, I brought my heavy eyes (Ape, ye..maksudnya mata ngantuk yang berat banget, gitu...huehehehe) along to my office. I don't why??? Why oh why?? Ngantuk, sih enggak cuma mata terasa berat ajah gitu. I did work overtime yesterday. No biggie, though. I helped my Art Director to worked on some revises, new mandatory thing... So all you need to do is revised every layout that already made (yang artinya "banyak gila aja yang harus direvisi" Huehehehe).

Seperti biasa, pas sampe di tempat kost gue tetap menyempatkan diri buat nonton DVD (I know it sounds creepy, but hey! I just couldn't survive a single day for not watch any DVD...Maybe I'm such a DVDholic... Totally addicted to it, need to get myself some therapy..maybe??). Jadinya semalem gue
nonton filmnya Anne Hathaway yang gorgeously wonderful itu yang judulnya "Passengers". Dia main bareng sama Patrick Wilson (known by me for his role in "Purple Violet" which is he play alongside with Selma Blair, Edwards Burns and Debra Messing).

Pas minjem film ini, ni film sebenarnya gak direkomedasiin sama temen gue. But, dengan segala niat baik yang amat mulia ditambah dengan pikiran bijak (halah..) Gue berpikir at least, I always could enjoy Anne's gorgeousness...huehehehe... Eh, ternyata filmnya bagus juga, loh... Alurnya juga cukup to-the-point dan buat gue, sih banyak inspiring stuff about life yang bisa diambil (cielah..hehe). Maybe, it's just me aja kali, ya.. Gue, kan emang suka sama hal-hal yang begitu..hehe..

Anyway, ada dua quote yang gue suka...

"....you know what's scary about commitment? Your life becomes real. It's not a plan. It's not what you hoped for. It's real."
(Eric to Claire, Passengers-2008)

"When we lie, we make up our lies....with pieces of the truth"
(Mr. Perry to Claire, Passengers-2008)

Gimane? Oke, kan...hehehe... Kalo penasaran ceritanya soal apaan nonton aje, ye sendiri. Males juga nulis spoiler gituh..hihi.. Gue cukup recommend, kok... Tapi bagi yang nggak suka genre drama-thriller, mungkin akan sedikit bosen sama alurnya. Okey dokey, I have to go back to work, demi mencari sesuap nasi dan segenggam berlian..huehehe...

See you.

Random Updates

Good Morning, everyone....

I don't know why, but I know for sure that I'm totally sleepy this morning. Maybe, I need a caffeine shot to wake myself up. Anyway, right now I'm in total addiction for Dexter-series..hehehe... The series is about a kind, charming and loveable serial killer. Sounds interesting, right? The series is from book adaptation "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" written by Jeff Lindsay. An interesting watch for sure. I recommended it, fellas..^_^ FYI, Michael C. Hall (known for his role as David Fisher on Six Feet Under) played as leading role and he got nomination on Golden Globe 2009 for "Best Performance by An Actor in A Television Series-Drama", though he didn't win it.

So, he's definitely playing a good-act here. One more thing I love about this series, that Dexter is always be as a narrator in whole film, he spoke his mind in his own 'mind' (Well, i know it doesn't sound right..huehehe..) or for easier phrase it's 'first-person point-of-view' style' ^_^

I always love it, a film that using a narration or 'first-person point-of-view' style'. Feels like I've been on bedtime stories reading that my mom used to do to me when I was a kid. Well, even though right now I've got more various genre of stories (besides what-so-called-disney-fairytale), which involve thriller, horror or even a little bite from Woody Allen or Pedro Almodovar..hehehe.. I'm expanding my horizon, baby...

Anyhow, my last weekend was pretty awesome. On Friday night after work, I met my college-mate to hang-out and enjoyed a nice cup of Cold Stone ice cream. I ordered a medium-cup of mixed Cotton Candy and Cake-Batter with Chocolate-chip sprinkler... What a yum! And on Saturday, I spent an entire day on my dear bestbuddy's. Long time didn't see her and her family. Usually, I almost every day spent my day at her house, It's like my second home..hehehe.. But, after I got a job and moving-out thing. I rarely to swing myself to her house. We ended up watched Bride Wars. Not too good actually, in whole films I just enjoyed the beauty of Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. Thank God! I didn't watch it on theater. It will be a waste of money. On Sunday, before I got back to my place, I spent a couple hours on salon with my mom to get a hair treatment. I pleased myself with hair-creambath. Wooo...It totally soothe me, I love my after-creambath-hair. It makes me feel more gorgeous...Huahahahaha..

Okey, I guess I'm enough blabbing. Need go back to work.
Have a good day, everyone.....

Little bites from Steve Jobs

These following are some of my favorite quotes taken from Steve Jobs's commencement speech. I know it's kinda old speech, so maybe some of you already read/watch it.

"Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."

"When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something."

"No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true."

part of Stanford commencement speech address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.)

And last but not least, this is my favorite...

"You've got to find what you love," Jobs says
